For The Love of Chew Dog Toys

March 26, 2014 at 7:00 am

imagesHello, I have returned.  Sorry for being away so long, but I have been dealing with the loss of my beloved little boy Bichon, Maxx, who crossed the Rainbow Bridge on Tuesday, February 4, 2014.  My recuperation is ongoing and very  painful and I’m sure dog lovers everywhere will understand how hurtful it is to lose a pet you love very much and have had for almost 14 years.

Maxx started showing signs of his illness in December and by the end of January, he had lost about 10 pounds.  I tried everything to get him to eat, but he just wasn’t interested.  If he drank a little water, he would throw up slimy, foamy liquid and I forced myself to face the fact that he would not get better. Repeated trips to his vet, medication, etc. just did not help.  That’s the cruelty of liver disease, so his final visit to the vet was on Tuesday, 2/04/14.

I have his ashes, photos, and my wonderful memories of our time together and I will never forget him and how he loved me and his Chew Dog Toys and the fun he had playing with them.

Puppy Love For Cool Puppy Dog Toys

February 17, 2014 at 7:00 am

IMG_3491When it comes to puppy love, its difficult to imagine anything more heart warming than a new puppy to care for.  Puppies have a tremendous capacity to love and to fill the empty space in your heart.  Especially after losing a beloved pet.

After losing Maxx, my wonderful little Bichon, I was devastated.  I had him for almost 14 years and he was my constant companion, my shadow, and my love bug.

Getting a new puppy is challenging, but so worth the effort of training, house breaking, etc.  Getting the right toys for a new puppy is very important so shop carefully for Puppy Dog Toys and select toys that are type and size appropriate for your new pal.

They love to run and play and never seem to tire of challenging each other for possession of their beloved Ball Dog Toys.

Flying High With Zanies Dog Toys

January 27, 2014 at 7:00 am

indexWe are having so much fun today.  Just see how high my furry friend can jump.  He loves running and jumping to catch his toy.

When we first got Scooter, he was a very timid little boy who didn’t know how to play or socialize with people or other dogs.  But now, after a year of lots of TLC, he has become a very loving and loyal pet and does he ever love his Zanies Dog Toys.  You can take my word for it, he does!

Skip The Mess With Stuffing Free Dog Toys

January 24, 2014 at 9:00 pm

imagesDo you get tired of cleaning up all that “stuff” after your pooch destroys its newest toy?  Well I have -  so in doing some research for new toys, I was happy to discover an alternative.

My two furry pals love to play with their toys and they especially enjoy the ones that squeak, so when I found some Stuffing Free Dog Toys that also contain a squeaker, I was thrilled.  Now they can chew to their heart’s content and don’t leave a mess for me.

Fun In The Snow With Kong Rubber Dog Toys

January 19, 2014 at 7:00 am

Blog PicturesIn our area during the winter months we can experience snow falls that measure anywhere from 2 inches to 10 inches.  When it snows, our dogs love to get out and run through it, roll in it, and throw snow in the air with their noses.  They enjoy frolicking around with some of their toys and seem to be unaware that its cold.

After about twenty to thirty minutes, when I try to bring them in I have to look for them because being white also, they can get “lost” in the deep snow.  Then I have to get the hair dryer and melt all the “snowballs” that are clinging to their fur, but they don’t mind because they had so much fun playing in the snow with their Kong Rubber Dog Toys.

One of the smiley-dogmost important things you can do for your dog is help him maintain healthy mouth.  That means teeth that are free of tartar and nice pink gums.  Now you can struggle to brush your dogs teeth regularly – good luck with that, and we speak from first hand experience, or you can provide him with quality dental bones on which to chew.

Good quality dog bones are readily available and we have found that Kong makes some of the very best.  If you care about the condition of your dog’s teeth and gums, your should look for the Best Dental Dog Bones For Dogs and get some for your furry friend.  Your dog will be happier and when you notice the good results, you will be glad you did.

Bring On The Snow Ball Dog Toys

January 17, 2014 at 9:42 pm

1424270_269069086575399_1296541927_nMy two dogs, Maxx and Mandy, absolutely love the snow.  They love to run through it and throw snowflakes up in the air with their nose and really have a ball.  And speaking of balls, the will take their favorite ball dog toys outside and sometimes lose them in the snow.

After I bring them in and melt all the snowballs off their fur, I have to trek back out and search for the ball dog toys because they would be very upset if they couldn’t continue playing with them inside.  Ah the joy of being a doggie parent.

Destroyers Go After Non-Destructible Dog Toys

December 13, 2013 at 11:00 am

indexDo you have a destroyer or two in your family?  Well, we did – that is until we found a way to curb their appetite for things that were a no-no.  Training helped a little bit, but the most effective method was to occupy them with the right toys.

Now we have two happy, content doggies and our shoes and socks are not longer the target for their natural desire to chew, chew, and chew.  The answer was in finding some good quality Non-Destructible Dog Toys, which we have done and wow are we glad to have done that.
